I’m sorry for the loss of your brother. Our society is designed to destroy the weak and differently abled. It cherishes “self-sufficiency” while cutting vast swathes of people off from basic human rights like healthcare, safe housing and healthful food. The only wonder is that more people don’t stumble at the ever-higher hurdles to a “nice, middle class life”.
